So I've Been Busy

I'm trying to keep up with NaBloPoMo, and I've done okay so far, but it's been tough because I've got a lot of irons in the fire. "Irons in the fire" by the way is an idiom. That means there isn't actually a fire, and there are no irons. Just a little English teacher talk for you.

So what have I been busy with besides flying across the country for a wedding, preparing lessons, grading papers and fielding emails from parents?

1. I'm taking up jewelry making. My daughter talked me into it. I plan to open an etsy shop selling stamped metal jewelry soon. First I have to learn to keep the letters straight on the stamping blank. When I get that all figured out, I'll be selling jewelry that looks something like this:

2. I'm also opening a Zazzle shop where I can hawk my photography. You can visit me there and see my one photograph for sale. The shop is only slightly farther along in progress than my non-existent etsy shop.

So anyway, I've got to finish grading these vocabulary tests. Then I need to start rearranging the den to make it into my jewelry workshop. I also need to start going through my photographs and choosing the ones I want to sell.

But you know what? I got a post in tonight, so I'm still caught up on NaBloPoMo!
