I'm the same way. This NaBloPoMo has me so busy finding things to write, I don't have time to read!Cynthia Meentshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14775952813637311480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-86964024870473132.post-49468326641044682952011-11-16T08:32:22.230-06:002011-11-16T08:32:22.230-06:00I really love the banter between you and Alyssa. It makes me wish my mom blogged (which would be funny for very different reasons).

I love the stories about your students and the Princess. I also enjoy the pop quizzes, they either make me feel really smart or really stupid. (For some reason this appeals to me.)

I think you should keep on keeping on. You are doing great and I enjoy reading. I don't always comment because I'm usually a week behind on the blogs I read (hence why I'm commenting on the 16th when you wrote this on the 11th!) so I feel like it's too late to comment on a lot of things. That's not specific to your blog, I do it with everyone.momnextdoorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14360061081170849593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-86964024870473132.post-59233039446825832772011-11-12T11:36:53.433-06:002011-11-12T11:36:53.433-06:00Chris, I'll try and find some humor in my clas...Chris, I'll try and find some humor in my classroom as soon as my Paxil kicks in. As for the sister? Eh. She's okay as long as she keeps away from the English teacher posts; then she just hysterical and irrational. ;-)Cynthia Meentshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14775952813637311480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-86964024870473132.post-262648718614990302011-11-12T11:32:34.359-06:002011-11-12T11:32:34.359-06:00Jason, thanks for your help. Love the question/answer for English questions. Fun stuff! Life experiences and writing about them I find interesting to read personally! I think most people read quickly and happily, but only comment when something has personal resonance. I especially liked your posts about your boy moving out and about the princess. I commented on one, but not the other. Why? I felt like I had some connection to the former but am still only anticipating the latter.

I'm new too - but I think it's helpful to have short, funny (or otherwise striking) posts that come just about daily. (Which is a worst case scenario for a working writer who should be spending her time on her work-in-progress.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-86964024870473132.post-76640173313944835392011-11-11T16:33:01.641-06:002011-11-11T16:33:01.641-06:00Thanks, Alisa and Danae.
