Princess Rocket Scientist

As you know, my oldest granddaughter, The Princess, is a girly girl. Completely.

But who says a princess can't also be a rocket scientist? Not me. Not Melissa Montanez, owner of Technigirl either.

Melissa is an electrical engineer and the mom of a little girl. She spends her days around microchips and electronics, but she's still a girly girl. She doesn't think that little girls should have to give up their girliness just because they like math or enjoy dissecting frogs. That's why she founded Technigirl, a mom-owned business that sells smart clothes for smart girls. She got fed up with girls' shirts that said dumb things like “Allergic to Algebra”, “Most likely to spend Daddy’s money” etc.

She decided girls' shirts could have empowering messages like this one:

I was recently sent this t-shirt to review, so I took it to The Princess to see what she thought. She loved it! She loves scientific things. Her daddy, the computer tech, has taught her about the insides of computers and tells her bedtime stories about things like "the motherboard." She even has her very own "science bowl" into which she puts things that she wants to examine more closely.

The message agreed with her brainy side, and the ruffles and shiny metallic picture satisfied her Princess side.  Her mom and I like the fact that it's machine washable 100% ring-spun combed cotton.  All the inks are pthalate-free, and it's made in the USA!

Technigirl clothes come in sizes for infants, toddlers, and girls sizes up to 6X. Since The Princess is wearing size 6X right now, I hope that Melissa will extend her line into big girl sizes too.

The only suggestion I have is that the message should be much bigger! You can't even read it when I back off far enough to get the whole shirt and The Princess into the picture. If we're telling girls they can do anything, let's tell them loudly!

Now the really good news! I get to give away one Technigirl clothing item of the winner's choice.  The Rafflecopter below is your starting point. Do the required entry and then as many of the extra entries as you wish.

This giveaway will run from now until Thursday, October 4 at midnight EST. One winner will be chosen at random from all entries. The winner will be notified by email.
